Our Mission
At Work of Heart Homestead, our mission is to nurture curiosity, connection and care for the natural world through hands-on child lead exploration. Believe in growing hearts and mines outdoors, where every stick is a story every tree is a teacher and every child a Stewart of the Earth. I want children to thrive in a safe nurturing and welcoming environment. We’re learning is the top priority.
About Us
Work of Heart Homestead has been a dream of mine since high school. I have been working with children since I was 13 years old. I have worked at six daycares, Montessori schools, a Waldorf school, and a few nature/farm schools. I knew I wanted to merge all of that together!
What We Offer!
Passion-Driven Projects
Community, connection and passion for working with people in need. Volunteering for the food pantry, community garden, farmers markets, and town events. Lots to learn from a little hard work!
Childcare Enrichment
For ages from 3 to 7 years old, children can learn from a variety of curriculum and reconnect with nature, friends, and community. Monday through Friday 5am to 6:30pm open.
Our
Play All Day
Offering the opportunity for parents to come stay and play with their kids. No need to sign up just show up for the fun! Just make sure to check our calendar we aren’t at a field trip away!
Workshops and Activities
All year long we will offer different workshops and activities/events for all ages event adults! Anything from woodworking, small engines, metals, gardening, arts and crafts and even beekeeping!
